The book itself is very interesting, even if you are not from New Jersey. It's an interesting idea, taking actual events from Sylvia's life, actualy people/quotes and turning those events/people/quotes into poetry. As I reàd I was reminded of man's inhumanity to man and I was reminded of the civil wars that are being fought in the world currently. This book just touches on that era and learning all about the previous corrupt officials and later dishonest public servants and gangsters just didn't do it for me.
